Comments What can I say, fantastic job from all three guards yesterday. Seniors I am very, very, very proud of what you've achieved this year, it's been tough but we got there in the end. 4th Place is the best news I've had all year and to be only 1/10 away from Thurrock even better. You should be proud of your performance yesterday. The last week has been a pleasure in instructing you and I can't wait for next year to do it all again ~ after a very long rest first :) See you all on Friday for a great knees up. Comments As a former member of the Southern Knights, I am glad to see the Corps is still active. I played the Contra Bass in 1988, the year the Corps won the DCUK Championship. I started playing with the Waterlooville Drum & Bugle Corps and the highlight for me was performing music from 'Ben Hur' at the Wembley Stadium (BYBA Championship Finals) dressed in our Roman Centurian uniforms. I am honoured to have marched for only what I could say was (and I hope still is) the most popular and most widely followed Corps on the DCUK circuit. I know that when I marched for the Waterlooville drum & bugle corps, we would, like clockwork, book our tickets and travel to the DCUK Finals every year, the highlight being watching and cheering the 'KNIGHTS' I would be very interested to hear from anyone who remembers those 'GOOD OLD DAYS' and would like to chat some more. I am now 31 years old and still to this day, I miss marching. I re-live those days only by watching the videos and listening to cd that I've gathered over the years.

Comments Just wanted to say what a FAB weekend in Holland. With both guards making finals who could have asked for more. I thought that both the seniors and the juniors each gave us two tremendous performances. Wow juniors you have made me so very proud - coming 3rd against two Dutch guards and an American HS guard - you guys really rock!! Many thanks to Jackie, Alan and Ron for all your hard work in organising the trip and making sure it all ran smoothly, and to all our supporters from both SK and all the other guards that cheered us on!
