Congratulations to DCI Members
Although the Southern Knights have not fielded a competitive Drum Corps for the past three seasons we still had excellent representation in the 2000 DCI World Championships in Washington DC, USA.
Congratulations firstly to Steven Muzio (marching member from 1988 to 1997) who will be returning home as a World Champion after marching with the Co-Champions Corps, The Cadets. Steven is only the third member of our organisation to achieve the honour of being a World Champion and interestingly both of the other two also marched with The Cadets, one in 1990 and the other in 1993.
Well done also to Gavin Woodhead (marching member 1988 to 1997) and Terry Jefcoate (staff member 1999 & 2000) who both marched with the Madison Scouts, who were placed 10th this year. Special mention to Terry who has completed 4 successive years with Madison Scouts with 2000 being his age-out year.
