Mixed Fortunes at
Dagenham
Once again all three Knights Guards were in action
- this time at the Goresbrook Leisure Centre in Dagenham, Essex on
Sunday 18th February.
After the success at Burgess Hill hopes were
high for the Rugrats and they were up against 7 other units. The
17 members, once again, put on an excellent performance with an extra
piece at the end which really was tear jerker. Although one
judge put them a close joint second the other placed them down in
fourth place which, once totaled together actually put them in 4th
Place overall.
The Cadet Guard were not quite a 'bouncy' as in
previous performances but still got the audience clapping along to
their fun summer show. Competing against 5 other units the
Guards score improved well but they actually dropped a place into
3rd. It is still quite close at the top of this class and so all
to play for. Well done to Laura on her first performance.
Although having to make forced changes the Senior
Guard are continuing to improve their show and held their position
today. Performing against 5 other units their score increased
nicely on the previous show and the Guard kept their seeded position
being placed 3rd.
Off to Holland for the Cadets and Seniors next
weekend and then a week later all three Guards are back to Dagenham
again.
