Sheffield Show
Report
Just the Open Class decided to take the long
trip up to Sheffield on Sunday 18th March which meant not such an
early start as they were not due to perform until around 4pm.
After nearly 6 hours on a coach, the nine
members, making use of the new coloured ropes, put on a good
performance and were placed 2nd however they still have 2/3 other
units very close behind.
10½ hours on a coach for 3½ hours in
Sheffield!! Thanks to the people who traveled with the Guard and also
thanks to The Forgemen for assisting with the rope poles.
Now the final show has taken place the Senior
Guard are seeded 3rd in the Open Class, the Cadets are in 4th Place in
the Junior Class and the Rugrats 5th in the Cadet Class. And so
we now make the final preparations for the British Winter Guard Championships in Birmingham on Sunday 25th
March and we wish all three Guard the very best of luck.
