Adam Sage on staff and in the UK

The Southern Knights are pleased to be able to announce that they have been able to secure the services of sought after US designer, Adam Sage, to assist in the development of their Open Class Guards 2004 production, Spanish Caravan.

Adam is currently the Guard Caption Head and designer at Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps and has worked with numerous programs in Florida including Tarpon Springs High School, East Lake High School, Seminole High School (1993 WGI A class Bronze medallists), Clearwater High School and Pope High School in Marietta, Georgia. Pope High School was the 2000 WGI Open class Silver medallists and the 2002 WGI World class Bronze medallists.

He spent 1996 to 2002 working with the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps. Before teaching the Cavaliers, he was the Guard Caption Head with the Crossmen from 1994 to 1995, and Caption Head with Magic of Orlando from 1992 to 1993. His drum corps marching experience includes being a member of the Suncoast Sound from 1988 to 1989, and The Cadets of Bergen County from 1990 to 1991.

Adam is also actively involved with Winter Guard International (WGI). He was the director of The Company Colour Guard from 1995 to 1999. The Company was a two time WGI World Champion in the A (1995) and Open (1996) class. He was also a member of Emerald Marquis from 1990 to 1991. Adam currently works with Kell High School in Marietta, Georgia; Miamisburg High School in Dayton, Ohio, Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, Florida, and Kennesaw Mountain High School in Kennesaw, Georgia.

This is the first time Adam has worked with any unit outside of the USA and will be with Guard at their first camp weekend on 21st/23rd November.  When he is not teaching colour guard, Adam is a third grade teacher in Kennesaw, Georgia where he resides.
