It was Sunday 7th February, it was 7am, it had started to snow and our A Class & Junior Class Guards were off to Leicester!!

Without the Rugrats things were a lttle quieter for this contest. First of our Guards to perform were the Cadets in the Junior Class. Although down on numbers today this didn't really seem to cause the 5 girls too many problems and it was pleasing to see that we held onto our positioning and came in in 3rd Place. We are told to watch out for the arrival of Fred & Barney in the near future!!

Following last weeks disappointing result, the 7 members of the A Class Guard have been working hard on a new section of thier show. Today, however, they performed the same show as Dagenham and were pleased to be placed 5th. Not only did they move up in the rankings but they also closed the gap on others and only missed 4th place by 0.3 of a point (it would have been 0.1 of a point but for time penalties - special mention again to the floor 'humpers' who did actually make up 10 seconds from last week. Bit more next time lads!).

All three Guards are back in action next week (14th February) at the Knights sponsored contest in Worthing.
