In acknowledging the fact that, for the foreseeable future, we will not be in a position to field a competitive Drum Corps, the staff and members have discussed different activities that could be undertaken to increase membership, public awareness and performance opportunities. One of the most popular ideas was Cheerleading.

As a result of this at the recent Board of Trustees meeting of the Southern Knights it was decided that we should join the British Cheerleading Association (http://www.cheerleading.co.uk) to help obtain valuable experience and promote our new venture.
