Following on from the recent posting of the Rugrats Winterguard show, we are pleased to announce that for 2000 the theme for the Southern Knights Cadet Guard will be 'Pulp Fiction'.

The Guard will be performing to music from the cult Quintin Tarantino film and will be using the familiar tune from the opening scenes of the film - Misirlou (by Dick Dale and his Del-Tones!) plus You Never Can Tell (by Chuck Berry) where we will be 'getting on down' at Jack Rabbit Slims for the World Famous Jack Rabbit Slims Twisting Competition.

The Cadets currently have 7 established members but anticipate starting the competition season in January with at least 10.

The staff for the Cadets will be Karen Freemantle (Guard Director) and Sandra Harris and they will be competing in the Junior Class of the Drum Corps United Kingdom Winterguard Circuit.

The Senior Guard will be announcing their 2000 show on Tuesday 19th October.
